about
Lapis Lazuli has been through a lot within the Steven Universe story line, we still have yet to learn more about her backstory but she still holds a place in our hearts. This track is kind of like Pogo meets Porter Robinson, A song relating to Lapis and her struggles with the mirror and Malachite.
Took me a while surprisingly to work on this. Mainly me cleaning up the instrumental and making sure it sounds cool enough to me, I always wanted to wait for Glory's (excellent) vocals to come in. It was worth the wait!
The Official Music Video will most likely come out in December, giving people time to complete and turn in their parts :D Hope you enjoy!
lyrics
I chose to stay
With him
Right here
For now
And I am finally free
And I can finally breathe
I Chose
To stay
With her
For now
I Chose To
I Chose To
Sometime I sit and remember
How I got stuck here forever
And it’s not a pretty thought
Then I think about the past month
And I’m not at all proud
I am not a good person
But sometimes you make me doubt
I chose to stay
With him
Right here
For now
And I am finally free
And I can finally breathe
I Chose
To stay
With her
For now
I Chose To
I Chose To
If I could begin to be
Half of what you think of me
I wouldn’t feel so ashamed
I wouldn’t feel so at blame
I chose to stay
With him
Right here
For now
I Chose To
I Chose To
